"Flying Pig Create Studio is pleased to announce the  re-opening of its Studio this summer.  We hope to see you here soon.

 

The following sewing and crafting camps are being offered this summer.

The cost of each camp is $200 for session 1, 2 and 3 and $180 for Session 4 and is payable by cash/check/zelle/Venno.   If paying by Palpal, a small processing fee will be charged in addition to the cash price.

Session 1- June 29th through July 1st (9:30 am to 12:30 pm)

Beach Necessities: Beach Tote, Beach Coverup and Zipper Pouch

​

 COVID is hopefully ending and what a better way to celebrate than spending as much tine as we can at the beach, MASKLESS!  Your child will be prepared for the trip to the beach with a beach tote, coverup up and an all purpose zipper pouch, that she will be making at Flying Pig Create Studio.   After choosing the fabric, your child will cut and sew the projects.  Once done, she/he can make it truly his/her own with infinite trim, applique and decoration options   The possibilities and fun are endless.  Sewing prerequisite is desired but not require for this camp.  Campers must be at least 8 years old.

Session 2:  July 13th through July 15th (9:30 am to 12:30 pm)

Room Décor:  Hot Air Balloons,  Pennant Bunting and Pillow

If your child is like mine, she has been spending a lot of time in her room this past year, whether doing virtual learning or just Facetiming friends.  This camp will give her the opportunity to refresh her room with some new and fun décor.   These projects will sure to remind her of the beautiful city that we live in. Your child will be making a hot hair balloon mobile, a pennant bunting and a decorative pillow.   As with almost everything we do in the Studio, your child can make these projects truly his/her own with infinite trim, applique and decoration options   The possibilities and fun are endless.  Sewing prerequisite is desired but not require for this camp.  Campers must be at least 8 years

Session 3:  July 27th through July 29th (9:30 am to 12:30 pm)

Cool For The Summer:  Tie Die T-shirt, Shorts and Bucket Hat

​

Summer is all about being relaxed and comfortable.  Your child will be summer 'vibe-ing' with this camp outfit ensemble.  She will tie-dye her own T-shirt, sew her own shorts and a reversible bucket hat.  How cool is that!  Sewing prerequisite is desired but not require for this camp.  Campers must be at least 8 years.

Session 4:  August 3rd through August 5th (9:30 am to 12:30 pm)

Create your Own Projects

​

For the first time ever, the Studio is offering a "Create Your Own Projects" camp.  This camp is for the intermediate to advance sewers only.  Campers will be able to start or finish some of those projects that they have been wanting to sew but just needed some guidance and instructions to get started.   Campers will come to the studio with their own projects/designs that they have conceptualized.  The instructor will work closely with them and guide them with instructions and suggestions to bring their projects to completion. Campers are responsible for all the materials in this class.  However, campers may use what ever trims and/or notions available at the studio to truly customize and complete their projects. Campers must be at least 8 ears old and have had 2 or more years of sewing experience.
